How to Set Up Your No-Show Policy

SuiteCal can automatically block clients who keep no-showing on you. Once you turn this on, clients who hit your no-show limit won't be able to book online anymore.

Here's how to set it up.

Step 1: Go to Booking Page Settings

  1. Tap Booking Page in the left menu.

  2. Scroll down to the No-Show Policy section.

You'll see a toggle that says Block clients who repeatedly no-show.

Step 2: Turn On No-Show Protection

  1. Toggle on Block clients who repeatedly no-show.

That's it. With the default settings, any client who no-shows 2 times will be blocked from booking online.

If the defaults work for you, scroll down and tap Save Settings. You're done.

Step 3: Customize Your Rules (Optional)

If you want to change how many no-shows are allowed or what happens when a client hits the limit, tap Advanced settings to expand more options.

Strike Threshold Choose how many no-shows a client gets before the rule kicks in. The default is 2 no-shows. You can change this to a number that works for your business.

Consequence Choose what happens when a client hits the limit. The default is Block Online Booking, which stops them from booking through your booking page.

Once you've made your changes, scroll down and tap Save Settings.

Good to Know

  • This only affects online booking. You can still create appointments for blocked clients manually from your calendar if you choose to.

  • No-shows are counted each time you mark an appointment as a no-show.

  • If you have client reminders turned on, SuiteCal sends reminders before every appointment to help prevent no-shows. Not set up yet? See Set up client reminders.
