What is a rebook reminder
A rebook reminder is an email reminder sent 14 days after a client’s appointment.
It is designed to help bring clients back when they may be due for their next fill or future appointment.
When a rebook reminder sends
A rebook reminder is only sent if the client does not already have a future booking.
That means SuiteCal checks whether the client already has another upcoming appointment scheduled.
If the client already has a future booking, the rebook reminder will not send.
If the client does not have a future booking, the rebook reminder can send, as long as the reminder is turned on.
This helps avoid sending unnecessary follow-ups to clients who already rebooked.
How to turn on rebook reminders
To use rebook reminders:
Go to Client Reminders in your SuiteCal account.
Open Rebook reminder under Bring clients back.
Turn on Email in the delivery channel section.
Save your changes.
Once saved, the rebook reminder will be active for future appointments.
What you can control
For the rebook reminder, you can control:
whether the reminder is turned on
whether Email is enabled as the delivery channel
Unlike some other reminders, the rebook reminder does not include extra fields for custom notes, links, button text, or a custom message.
Why this matters
This keeps the rebook reminder simple and automatic.
Instead of setting up extra content, you only need to decide whether you want SuiteCal to send the rebook reminder when a client does not already have another appointment booked.
