Edit client reminders on mobile

Client reminders are a paid feature in SuiteCal. On mobile, reminders are edited one by one instead of all on one page.

Updated today

You can open each reminder, make changes, and save that reminder before moving to the next one.

Before you start

Before editing reminders on mobile, make sure:

  • reminders are included in your paid plan

  • your booking page is active

  • clients are booking with the correct contact details

SuiteCal sends reminders using the existing email template. Any optional content you add, like prep notes, links, button text, or a custom message, is added into that email.

How to open client reminders on mobile

  1. Log in to your SuiteCal account on mobile.

  2. Open Menu from the bottom navigation.

  3. Tap Client Reminders.

You will see the reminder list grouped into 3 sections:

  • Before the appointment

  • After the visit

  • Bring clients back

Each reminder appears as its own card.

Reminders you can edit on mobile

You can update these reminders on mobile:

  • Advance reminder β€” sent 1 day before

  • Day-of reminder β€” sent 2 hours before

  • Thank-you message β€” sent 2 days after

  • Rebook reminder β€” sent 14 days after, only if the client does not already have a future booking

How mobile editing works

On mobile, you do not edit all reminder settings from one long page.

Instead:

  1. Tap the reminder you want to update.

  2. A reminder detail screen opens.

  3. Make your changes for that reminder.

  4. Tap Save reminder.

Then go back and open the next reminder if needed.

What you can edit

Depending on the reminder, you may be able to update:

  • whether the reminder is turned on

  • the delivery channel

  • preparation notes

  • a review or booking link

  • link button text

  • a custom message

Some reminders have fewer fields than others.

How to turn a reminder on or off on mobile

Each reminder detail screen includes a toggle for Email.

To turn a reminder on or off:

  1. Open the reminder.

  2. In Delivery channels, use the toggle next to Email.

  3. Tap Save reminder.

If Email is turned off for that reminder, that reminder will not be sent.

How to update preparation notes on mobile

For reminders like the Advance reminder, you can add prep notes for your clients.

Examples:

  • Please arrive with clean lashes.

  • Please avoid mascara before your appointment.

  • If this is your first visit, please come a few minutes early.

Keep prep notes short and easy to read.

How to add a review or booking link on mobile

Some reminders, like the Thank-you message, let you add a link.

You can paste in:

  • your Google review link

  • your SuiteCal booking page link

This helps clients take the next step without needing to message you.

How to update the link button text on mobile

If a reminder includes a link, you can also choose the button text shown in the email.

Examples:

  • Leave a Review

  • Book Again

  • Book Your Next Fill

Use button text that is short, clear, and easy to understand.

How to add a custom message on mobile

Some reminders let you add your own message.

Your custom message is added into the standard SuiteCal email template. It does not replace the full email.

Good examples:

  • Thank you for coming in. I loved having you.

  • Please remember to follow your aftercare.

  • It may be time to book your next fill.

How rebook reminders work on mobile

The Rebook reminder is sent 14 days after the appointment.

It is only sent if the client does not already have a future booking.

On mobile, you may also see a note explaining that the reminder is only sent when no upcoming booking exists.

Tips for editing reminders on mobile

A few good practices:

  • edit one reminder at a time

  • save after each change

  • keep each message focused on one main point

  • use the advance reminder for prep

  • use the thank-you message for aftercare, reviews, or rebooking

  • keep rebook reminders friendly and low-pressure

Keep in mind

Changes you make on mobile apply to future reminder emails after you save them.

SuiteCal still sends the reminder using the existing email template, with your optional content added into it.
