Managing Account Settings and Timezone

Your account settings control how SuiteCal schedules appointments, displays times, and communicates with clients. Setting these correctly ensures bookings work as expected.

Accessing account settings

  1. Log in to your SuiteCal dashboard

  2. Click Settings from the left sidebar

This is where you manage your business profile, preferences, and timezone.

Setting your business timezone

Your business timezone is one of the most important settings in SuiteCal.

  • Availability is calculated using your business timezone

  • Appointments are stored based on your business timezone

  • Internal scheduling logic always follows this timezone

To update it:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select your correct business timezone

  3. Save your changes

Choose the timezone where you physically provide services.

How timezones work in SuiteCal

SuiteCal uses your business (merchant) timezone everywhere, so appointments stay consistent for in-person services.

  • Clients see available times in your business timezone

  • Your availability is calculated in your business timezone

  • Your dashboard and booking confirmations show times in your business timezone

This keeps everyone on the same page and avoids confusion for local, in-person appointments.

What happens if you change your business timezone

  • All availability is recalculated using the new business timezone

  • Future booking slots follow the updated timezone

  • Existing bookings remain tied to the original scheduled time in your business context

  • Clients continue to see times in your business timezone, not theirs

If you permanently move your business to a new location, update your timezone before opening future availability to avoid confusion.

Best practices

  • Set your timezone once during setup and avoid frequent changes

  • Double-check timezone after travel or relocation

  • Always test your booking page after updating settings
